TASK

In a group of 5 members, we are required to prepare measurements and bill of quantities for doors and windows of a condominium or a smaller structure. We have come to a decision to have selected bangsar. Due to the convenience of the given floor plan, we measured all doors and windows and have used the floor plan as a guide- a condominium unit in Suasana Bangsar located in Jalan Kaloi, Bangsar.

Suasana Bangsar is made up of 31 floors:
Lobby (L), Upper Lobby (UL), Basement 1-4 and 25 floors (8 units on each floor).

Upon completing this assignment, we are required to prepare a report and record the site measurement and dimension. Nevertheless, we have acquired all the information including photos and then transferred into query list, taking-off list, dimension sheet and bills of quantity respectively. These documents were binded as a whole and attached along with the report and submitted on time on 5th July, in Block C Level 5 (C.5).









MY THOUGHTS
Through this semester, I had develop a better understanding of Measurement better than I did for the last two semesters. I am more familiar with the principles of measurement. Besides, the assignment given by Mr. Soon has strengthen the teamwork we have in our group of 5 members. All 5 members have involved themselves in measuring every doors and windows. These doors and windows were then calculated by us and produced a report after. These work were done together during meeting sessions held twice.  Although some work were distributed individually, all group members managed completed their work in time, or even better, earlier. I believe through the semesters, we have begun to adapt to the workload given and manage our time wisely.
