LECTURED BY : MR. CHEE WAI MENG & MR. RAMAR SUBRAMANIAM

Measurement has taught me the significance of decision making and management skills related to the quantity surveying profession in the preparation of the Bills of Quantities. This applies alongwith depth of subject knowledge on the principles of measurement of various elements. Additionally, the importance of Tender Document preparation and the importance of the ability to work progressively together as a team.

Specifically, this module covers the recognition of items measurable for cold water and sanitary plumbing, electrical installation, mechanical and electrical works (M&E), and engineering works. I have taught to distinguish and illustrate differences in writing descriptions in accordance to design works. The ability to produce measurement for cold water and sanitary plumbing, electrical installation, mechanical and electrical works (M&E), and engineering works in accordance to Standard Method of Measurement (SMM2) and Malaysian Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement (MYCESMM). I have a conceptual understanding of and able to carry out the preparation of the Bills of Quantity for the above mentioned design works.
