This module introduced me to the important of facility management of a property.
Throughout this module, I learnt the types of facilities of a property. Property management including swimming pool, bulk water filter, playground, leisure landscaping, sports facilities (courts), car wash areas, parking areas, refuse chamber, retails, gymnasium, security access, intercom system, lift installation, security guards and CCTVs.
The Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents (Malaysia) are being taught to evaluate the malaysian property management standards as a property manager based on Act 242. This module enabled my exposure to the Laws of Malaysia according to Act 663 Building and Common Property (Maintenance and Management) Act 2007, Strata Titles Act 1984 (Act 318), Rules & Order.
Through such lectures I understood the rights and the responsibility of a property manager against the details of facility management of building.
